Yevhenii Kostenko

Résumé

Yevhenii Kostenko obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology and Bioengineering from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University in 2022, followed by a Master’s degree in Biosciences from École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in 2024. During his Master’s, Yevhenii completed an internship at Sorbonne Université with Dr. Jean Livet, focusing on engineering genetic circuits to study neurodevelopment. For his Master’s thesis, he worked on the development of an atypical DNA replication system for directed evolution, with Dr. Nicolas Huguenin-Dezot in Prof. Sven Panke’s Lab at ETH Zürich. He joined the Prof. Dr. Paolo Arosio group in December 2024 to begin a PhD on the bioengineering of artificial extremozymes and extremocells for biocatalysis.
