Marcell Papp

Résumé

Marcell received his Bachelor's degree in Chemial Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in January 2020. In his thesis he studied the catalytic cycle of biomimetic nitrogenases by quantum chemical methods. During his BSc he also worked for EGIS Pharmaceuticals Plc. as a student researcher in synthetic organic chemistry.

In September 2020 Marcell moved to Zürich to pursue his MSc in Chemical and Bioengineering at ETH. For his master's thesis he joined Prof. Dr. Arosio’s group to investigate the encapsulation of proteins in extracellular vesicles. Besides his studies Marcell also completed a 4-month internship in data analysis and machine learning at DataHow AG, an ETH spin-off specialized in bioprocess modelling.

In May 2022 Marcell started his PhD at the Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering of ETH Zürich in Prof. Dr. Arosio's group.
