external pageIn this paper, we apply our high-throughput nanoparticle approach to characterize surfactants in their ability to protect therapeutic antibodies against surface induced-aggregation. While effective at the air-liquid interface, the surfactants show strikingly different behaviour at industrially relevant solid interfaces. These results highlight the need for optimized formulations that shield therapeutic proteins from interfacial stresses other than the air-liquid interface.
