[Nature Communications] Dynamic arrest and aging of biomolecular condensates are modulated by low-complexity domains, RNA and biochemical activity
Congratulations to Miriam on the publication! In this paper (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41467-022-30521-2) we apply Differential Dynamic Microscopy to measure the material properties and aging of biomolecular condensates. We show that LCDs, unstructured RNA and biochemical activity can keep biomolecular condensates fluid-like and prevent aging into arrested states. This work was done in collaboration with the labs of Karsten Weis (D-BIOL, ETH) and Eleonora Secchi (D-BAUG, ETH).
